Yo, ho. How’s everyone been?

Things are going well in my world. As you know, I’ve been here with my niece, Margaret. Last blogged I said she was 3, almost 4: I lied. Shes 2, almost 3. Not really almost but in December. Things are going extremely well. I’ve been around since before she was born so she’s always known about me. However, with them living all the way out here, we don’t see eachother a terrible lot. When we do see them, everyone else is there; Matthew, his dad, his brother, denice, and harry, and sometimes (alot of times) myself. So, she’s never had any one on one time with “An Tristi.” Since I’ve been here, Saturday evening, we have had a bond like you wouldn’t believe.

She is so smart for a two year old - seriously. They have a desktop in the den. I can be in the living room, watching tv, and she will go in the den by herself and get on disney.com and play. She knows how and she understands! CRAZY smart. She talks soo well and she’s so well-mannered. She says “thank you, ma’am” or “youre welcome” most times. Occasionally if shes preoccupied you may need to remind her but for the most part she does it on her own. I love this girl to death! I don’t know what I’m gonna do when I have to leave.

Anyyyway. Not much else has been going on. I haven’t been online a terrible lot. if I open my laptop she wants to play, which is fine.. so I let her. Friday night I’ll be home. I miss Matthew already.
We will be moving officially in roughly three weeks and nothing is packed.. how fun. When I get home, I need to do a hella ton of packing and preparations to leave. We still need to get some freakin bids on that heat pump too…rawr.

Have a good evening!

Yo, ho.

I got a hankering to do one of those “Friday Five” things but I couldn’t find one for Thursday so.. here’s one from last week’s.

1. Did you get an allowance as a kid, and if so, how much was it?
- My grandmother gave me $5/week
2. How old were you when you had your first job, and what was it?
- I was (just turned) 17. It was at Hardee’s (ooh aah).
3. Which do you do better: save money or spend money?
- I save money better than I spend it.
4. Are people more likely to borrow money from you, or are you more likely to borrow from them?
- They are more likely to borrow from me.
5. What’s the most expensive thing you’ve ever bought?
- A house? Hahaha.. We just purchased it and it took two loans actually so the biggest loan/thing I bought I guess was $17,900 but together it was $25,00

Okay I feel better now! Yay for questions. Maybe I can make my own for Thursday. The Thursday Thirteen! Would that be too many to answer? I could do Three but that’s just not very may. We will see.

SO. Guess what! Sunday (maybe Saturday) I am going to travel to DeQueen until next Saturday/Sunday. My Sister and Brother in Law have to work all week and they asked if I would stay with them and babysit my Niece, Maggie Leigh! She’s three - four in December. Harry and Denice both teach and they happen to have workshops and such all week long so they’ve asked me to come and babysit for em. Theyre gonna pay me more than I would make working (because I only had three days) and I’ll get to visit them! I’m excited. Maggie’s finally getting old enough to kinda talk and recognize people and I get to be Aunt Kristi! She actually already has an Aunt Kristi..haha. Denice’s half-sister’s name is also Kristy but I don’t think they see her often.

Anyway. Nothing much else has happened. Michelle and Corey closed on their house yesterday and are basically already moved in, so I hear. Yay! No more Ghetto Lake! I was worried about them being there. Too many times their car has been hit/keyed and they have heard gunshots. Now they are in a much more private area. Only down side is that it’s near train tracks but it’s not like trains run near as much as they used too down their so it shouldn’t be too bad. Besides, our gm had a house almost right next to the one they purchased it so that’s nothing new. We’ve also lived fairly close to tracks before as well.

Well, it’s late. I worked the night shift and am working the day shift tomorrow. Also, tomorrow we have a Kara raid. if we don’t get healers though.. it won’t work so well. Oh and I am anxiously awaiting the birth of Amy’s son! Her due date was today. Speaking of Birth’s.. Jamie Lynn Spears had her baby today. Maddie Briann (why Briann? Lame).

Bai.

Yo ho.

I am sorry about the lack of activity recently: both with blog and message board activity. In my defense, my family members from Texas were down and I came in to visit with them. I also attended a wedding on Saturday.  Thursday night I came in and stayed the night at my gm’s. I was going to go back to Matthew’s Dad’s (where he was) to stay the night but I ended up staying at gm’s again to wait on my family to get here. Chelle stayed, too.
Saturday morning I got up at 7am which is UNGODLY early for me. I proceeded to Floral which took approximately thirty minutes. I switched vehicles so Rickey could look at mine and Matthew and I headed to Melbourne which took about an hour and fifteen minutes. We got to Brady and Kayla’s, where we met up with two guys from highschool. Brady and Kayla had run to Batesville for the tuxes but it didn’t take long. Anywho.. I got to the church around 11 and helped her set up before the wedding. She looked soo beautiful! :) Oh, lemme back up. Matthew, Brady, and I have all known eachother since atleast fifth grade (Matthew knew him longer). Brady “mother fuckin” Strother was a “Hustler” ect ect. NEVER someone I thought would ever get married. He and Matthew were good friends in HIghschool and honestly I didnt think he liked me at all. I later found out from Kayla that he thought I was a good woman, which made me feel special. Anyhow, Brady and Kayla met at work and the rest is history! Theyve been together for.. two years now. Anyway! I love em both to death and Im so happy for them. Sooo anyway. We left the wedding at 3pm and proceeded BACK to Floral. After that I got back in my car (Rickey was unable to fix the issue..he wasn’t really sure and didn’t want to buy a new fuel pump n the event that wasn’t the issue). So I drove it back to gm’s.

After I got there, we ate dinner and decided to go bowling in Cabot so that my family from texas could see my uncle (he works at the bowling alley on the side and used to live in texas as well, near them). We needed to stop by Chelle’s apartment and drop off the mustange first so it took another 45min-hour to get to the bowling alley. Mind you, it is like 8pm at this time and I am soo sleeppyy. Anyway! I bowl the worst game of my life, while my brother-in-law embarassed both my sister and myself by scoring much higher. Mind you, this was the first time he’d ever bowled in his life. After that we went by sonic and headed back to gm’s.

Sunday we didn’t do much. I took my car to a place to get looked at first thing this morning. Aunt tammy, Chelle, Candace, Brittany, and myself all went walking around the land. Chelle and I snapped some photos which inspired me to create a “What Remains” series. I’ll link it later when I get it up on DA. Nothing much else happened.
This morning they all left to go diamond hunting! I also got my car back. She (yes, she has a personality and a name) had some loose wires! I was expecting it to cost in the hundreds but it was only $83. YAy! It was touch and go there for awhile but she’s back and running better than ever. I’m going to leave tomorrow when I get up and head back to Conway. I miss my hubby.

Concerning the topic.. my weekend was filled with random, childish joking about the movie Labrynth and the Dia-be-tes man on TV. If you haven’t seen the Labrynth (the OLD one, with David Bowie) - watch it. Sir Didymus is the SHIT. AMBROCIOUS! Chelle and I are fighting over who gets to name their dog that. We decided that whoever gets the smallest dog will name it Sir Didymus and the larger, Ambrocious. ANywho. You know those really old diabetes commercials with that large man that says it like.. DIA-BE-TES? Yeeahh.. it’s funny. Not that he has it, but the way he says it. So, Chelle and I shouted that and AMBROCIOUS! at eachother all weekend. They thought we were crazy but we had fun. It’s nice to share such easy amusement with someone who understands. I love my sister <3

Uhh I think that covers it. OH. MIchelle and I saw “Mr. Herbert” at the bowling alley. You know? The old pedophile from Family Guy. “Mmm..where’s the PAPER boyyy..mmm?” Yeah. If he was a real life person.. that would be him. AWESOME.

ALright now that I’ve written a novel and bored you all to tears.. I shall cease.
OH. One more thing! The insurance company is yet to contact me again and it’s pisssinnn mee off. I’ll call tomorrow and if there’s no word, I shall tell them I will take my business elsewhere - it’s been a week.

Have a good one.
